This is just a list I came up with. Some of this etiquette could be applied to other things in life, too.
1. Order at the designated place before you get to the window.
2. Don't be afraid to ask questions if you're confused. It'll save everyone time and agony later.
3. Speak clearly; don't mumble, scream, or look the other direction.
4. Don't talk on your cell phone while ordering, it's rude.
5. Don't talk on your cell phone when you're at the window, it's rude.
6. If you are on your cell phone, excuse yourself and say you'll call the person back. Or just set it on your lap for the duration of the transaction. The person on the other end should understand. If you absolutely need to finish the conversation, go park your car, and then when you are done on the phone, make your way over to the drive-through.
7. It's ok to order a cup of water in addition to what you are getting. It's tacky to order only a cup of water.
8. Tip, if there's the option.
9. If there's a line, a good thing to do while you're waiting is to get your money out and ready.
10. If the cashier is nice enough to greet you and ask you about your day, the least you could do is respond. The cashier is a person too, after all.
11. Tell the cashier to have a nice day, too. It's polite.
12. Say "Thank you."
13. The cashier is most likely not the one who prepared your order. So if a mistake is made, don't put all of the blame on the person in the window.
14. Patience, good humor, and an understanding heart can make someone's day.
15. At the very least, turn your music down while placing your order.

First Post.
This will be a site that is basically a list of things that I like....and whatever else strikes me creatively.
Maybe someday I'll share it with people I know.
But first I think I'll wait until I've written something decent/taken a decent picture...etc.
