8 Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed.

8 Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed.

To whom is this refering? Anyone specific? Are those who cannot speak for themselves also the ones being crushed, or are these two separate commands?

For whom do we advocate?

Physically and Mentally Disabled?
The unborn?
The newly born?
Children?
Animals?
Plants?
The spiritually immature?
A friend or family member in need?

Who is being crushed?

today in chapel they had a few girls talk about helping the children who become orphans when thier parents die of AIDS. it was really touching and you could tell they were passionate about it. i was wondering why i generally wasn't too concerned for them. But I am body and soul committed to helping the Deaf in the 3rd world.

so... God gives each of us a passion for a specific group, otherwise nothing would ever get done.
